“The sun is a daily reminder that we too can rise again from the darkness, that we too can shine our own light.” – S. Ajna

MY STORY

We all will experience loss throughout our lives, such as the death of a loved one, a divorce or breakup, loss of a job, or being diagnosed with a chronic illness.

My husband, Jakub, passed away four months after being diagnosed with stage four cancer at age 34. The pain I felt has shaken me up and broken me down and sent me on a quest to find healthy ways to cope with grief and learn to heal.

Because yoga and mindfulness were already part of my life, I started exploring how I could use both as somatic tools to address the physical, mental, and spiritual symptoms of grief and support my journey towards re-finding meaning for life.

HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT

Each person experiences suffering differently, but one thing we all have in common. Traumatic events can leave both physical and emotional imprints on our cells, leading to imbalances in our central nervous system. If the suffering is not addressed, it can get stuck in our body.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, but there are healthy ways we can cope with it. By combining yoga, movement, breath, and sound, I intend to offer you a safe environment to release pain and suffering, and reconnect to your heart.

SURRENDER

I understand it takes a lot of courage to walk into life after loss, talk about emotional brokenness and discomfort, and accept the new circumstances. Grief is not linear and has no timeline. Be easy on your heart and gentle with your process.

I would love to hold space for you on this healing journey, letting the feelings move through you and get empowered again.

You never move on from grief, but you can gracefully move forward to connect to love.
